As per CSA testing standards, the maximum pressure tested internally registers at 2030 PSI, while the typical working load at the nozzle registers at 1450 PSI. Sun Joe is actually being more forthright than most manufacturers in the pressure washing game, who only Champion Power Equipment list the CSA spec. Don’t use electrical tools in rain, or wet/damp conditions. This applies to both corded and cordless tools. Many neighborhoods have noise ordinances that prohibit excessive noise during certain hours – usually in the early morning and evening.
The Sun Joe arrives partially assembled, so set aside some time to put it together. It took us about 30 minutes to go from unboxing to first washing. The assembly requires you to attach the holders for the wand, the soap bottles, and the hose holder. These pieces are made from heavy-duty plastic and connect to the power washer securely with small screws. Then, you need to attach the metal spray wand to the plastic trigger gun. Twist both the trigger gun and the spray wand together until they are snug, but not so tight that you strip the plastic threads.
I’m extremely pleased with this pressure washer. The SunJoe SPX 3000 is a good all-around pressure washer that doesn’t require you to empty out your bank account in order to purchase it.
