So, who is the Sun Joe SPX3000 really geared toward? The specs really point toward lighter duty applications. At 1450 psi, cleaning a Champion Power Equipment driveway can be done, but you’ll likely have to keep the nozzle pretty close to the surface, which will narrow your cleaning swath.

In addition to its power, you’ll also want to consider the volume of water produced by an electric pressure washer. While the power tells you how much force the electric pressure washer will use when stripping away dirt, the volume of water tells you about the device’s ability to wash that dirt away. The volume of water is labeled in gallons per minute, or “GPM.” Some models are able to deliver 0.53 gallons per minute, while others deliver 1.76 gallons per minute.

Allow the detergent to remain on the surface for a short time before rinsing with the pressure washer. Do not allow the detergent to dry on the surface. To assemble the spray wand protector, first snap the tab into the slot located at the bottom left side of the unit, and then secure it in place with the remaining small screw (Fig. 8). Never pull the pressure washer by the cord or yank the cord to disconnect it from the receptacle. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, and sharp edges.

The only occasional inconvenience of having to wait on the pump to regain pressure after disengaging the handle. I primarily use the easy to snap on yellow 15 degree spray, nozzle. The green does ok, just slower to rip off the dirt and grime at a wider angle. Glad I went with a higher powered electric unit, as I won’t use it enough to justify a gas unit that would ultimately gum up from only occasional use. Use the 15º fan-tip nozzle for intense cleaning jobs on hard surfaces. Applications include stripping paint, removing oil stains, grease, heavy mildew stains, and rust from steel. This nozzle should only be used in areas that can withstand the high-pressure from this nozzle. Do not make changes to the nozzle while the trigger is engaged. Doing so could result in damage to the pressure washer or injury to the user. NEVER change nozzles without locking the safety lock on the trigger handle.
