This house is made with thin plastic such as Walmart doll cribs, if any of you know what I’m even talking about.
We would love to have a fun house to play in outside though. I recommend the Little Tikes Cape Cottage Playhouse to families to use with age appropriate children. The outside of the house is super cute! The inside doesn’t even have smooth walls which bothers me. Again, I had little tikes cape cottage playhouse one growing up & the walls were doubled. It even had a tinyyy table inside & a fake phone from what I remember.

We have several Little Tikes products and I love how they last forever if they are taken care of! My little ones would love the playhouse especially the windows. I like how the playhouse comes with some windows my son would love it. I’ve wanted one of these for my little girl! First and foremost this playhouse is meant for indoor use and if you’re looking for the indestructible version, check Facebook marketplace. Sure it has holes on the inside for stakes but don’t plan on putting it outside and leaving it there. It is best for ages 1-3 maybe 4 depending on how big your kid is.
The cottage is lovely, and my toddler has really taken possession of it! It was very simple to construct, looks nice, and I’m sure will last a few years of imaginative play. I think this could easily be resolved with a tiny design change, by having two latches/catches, top and bottom.
In regards to the design, it is a simple plain playhouse with no additional toys inside. We sometimes need to hit/kick them back in on the bottom corners. The door also is bounce pro trampoline flush with the wall of the house allowing little baby fingers to get jammed — I think the doors need to be reconsidered. This playhouse has become a favorite in our home.
