The cottage has 2 opening windows and doors which is fantastic. It came flat packed and I could not wait to put it together. The twins’ dad put the playhouse together in less than 20 minutes with just 2 screwdrivers. This was great as there is nothing worse than excited children and a toy that takes ages to assemble. One suggestion would be for the house number to be printed onto the house and not a sticker.
We have the Little Tykes Sizzle and Serve grill and a kids picnic table. I love that this house is easy to put together and take apart if needed. I am looking forward to seeing my kids continue to play with the Little Tikes Cape Cottage Playhouse throughout the summer and the rest of the year. I only had to break out a screw driver to attach the flag holder.
The house comes with a tool used to attach the main body via plastic screws as well as pieces that slide on for the roof. As expected from this brand, the playhouse is well made and safe. My 4 year old has had a blast playing skywalker trampoline 15 in the garden with this. The windows open as do both doors and he has made this his own “house”.
