It is a US federal crime to publish or distribute anything on this website without permission. This is a great grill to take for any outdoor function. It has enough of cooking space for a small family and its temperatures are high enough to tackle almost any kind of BBQing that you can imagine. It is also really easy to use and a lot of fun to work with as well. Speaking of weight, one of the few negative things that I do have to say about the Weber Q 2200 is regarding how heavy it is.

Gas grills, in particular, are great due to their ability to control the heat temperature while they’re in use. Grill a quick afternoon lunch of burgers and hot dogs, or a fish fillet for family dinner. The Q 2200 gas grill is an easy solution for any meal. GrillGrates amplify heat, prevent flare-ups, make flipping foods easier, kill hotspots, flip over to make a fine griddle, and can be easily moved from one grill to another. Click here for more about what makes these grates so special.

While the Traveler does fold up easily and can be dragged around without too much effort, it is still rather heavy pounds to be exact — especially with the grill grates inside. I personally wouldn’t want to drag or carry this grill on a hike or even a long walk. I needed to keep my Weber Q1200 off the ground because rodents were getting at the drip pan at night. I have to hold the grill/ cart down when I am cleaning the grill with the grill brush because it is too wobbly. For the price it should have been a little better built.

Despite its large frame, the Q 1200 only sports 189 square inches of grill space. While this measurement objectively lands in the middle of the grills we tested, it tends to be plenty of room for most travel-cooking needs. If you are just grilling up the meat portion, it is enough to cook 3-4 servings; if you are cooking just for weber q two, it is ample room to grill up both meat and veggies. While it is incredibly easy to use, porcelain-enameled cast iron is meant to be treated with a level of respect commensurate with its cooking performance. Unlike a regular grill surface, you never want to use a wire brush, which will destroy the naturally non-stick coating.

In contrast, others say the regulator is bad right out of the box. I am not technical enough to know if these problems stem from the same issue, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they are. If you find that the Weber Q1200 is running hot on the first run, give it some time before assuming there’s a problem.

Despite this, I wouldn’t say that the grilling space is overly compact. This is because you have enough room for 12 burgers or a few more hot dogs at one time on the cooking grates. These models come with porcelain-enameled cooking grates, and you can choose between the 4-burner and 3-burner configurations.

It’s a similar grill with a few upgrades and is built for 16oz bottles. Please don’t get a PRO model, because it will not accept disposable LP bottles. The other common problem noted was from people who found it difficult to attach a 16oz propane cylinder, which I mentioned in the Quality section of this review.
