Other than that, it’s affordable, it functions as intended and makes a basic cup of coffee for people in a hurry. Such is the case with the Keurig K-Mini and the Keurig K-Mini Plus. As the Plus would indicate, the latter has a few more features that set it apart from its predecessor, but are those features something you need? For the quick convenience of a Keurig machine, especially a single-serve coffee maker, sometimes less is actually more. First-cup speedIndicates how quickly the machine produces the first cup of coffee. This also includes the time required to heat any internal water reservoir from room temperature.

This is mostly a good thing, especially if you need coffee to function in the morning. There are only two buttons — a power button and a brew button — plus a curved light that blinks to tell you the machine is ready to brew. We do not know whether these users have cleaned or used the coffee maker properly. However, it is entirely possible that there were some malfunctioning models. If your coffee maker stops working, we do recommend getting in touch with Keurig as soon as possible. Keurig might be able to replace a malfunctioning coffee maker either free or at a small fee.

You can grab one in black or make your K-Mini pop on the counter in pink, green, two shades of blue, red, or gray. When it comes to using the K-Mini Plus, you’d be hard-pressed to find a simpler coffee maker. A nice perk adding to the versatility of the K-Mini Plus is that it can accommodate full-size 12-ounce travel mugs, especially impressive given its overall tiny footprint. In this review, we’ll look at what you can and can’t expect from this simple brewer, and how it stacks up against its more affordable base model, the K-Mini. One of our favorite values, Keurig 2.0 K300 series brewers are a big jump up from their K200 counterparts with a 60 oz reservoir, Temp Control, and more. Now discontinued, we recommend the Keurig K-Duo instead.

Keurig K-Mini

Saying that, the K-Mini might be best for those who already know they enjoy K-Cup coffee pods and want the single-serve coffee pod experience at home. However, the best Keurig experience we’ve tested has been with the K-Cafe Hamilton Beach and the K-Elite. The K-Mini is a slender Keurig machine that excels at its one function of brewing pod coffee. Its power cord storage makes it extra portable, while its one-cup reservoir saves space where it matters.
