Weber Spirit II E-210 Gas Grill in Littleton, MA

On a cold day with ambient temperatures in the upper 30°F range and all three burners on the low setting, Spirit II registered temps of about 410°F in front and 440°F in back. With all burners on High, temps were about 600°F front and 680°F back. For 2018, Weber sticks to the basics with a revamped version of their popular, full-size, entry-level Spirit gas grill line.

The Spirit E-310 comes with 3 stainless steel burners and heat output of 32,000 BTUs. Spaced over 2 burners, this grill caters for about 3-4 people. A drop-down side table is very useful for sauces and preparation. To answer the question quite clearly, I believe the Spirit II would be the better grill to buy.

This grill has a primary cooking area of 424 square inches along with a 105 sq. It can hold roughly 15 quarter-pound burger patties, plenty for that weeknight weber spirit 2 dinner. This grill features a one-touch infinity ignition system, porcelain-coated flavorizer bars, and an effective grease management system.

Their iconic black charcoal kettles are known throughout the world. If you plan on doing some low & slow smoking along with moderate searing/grilling, then I would recommend getting a different grill such as the Weber Smokey Mountain or some sort of pellet smoker. As a survivalist, I usually try to avoid leaving sticky stuff on my cooking tools since they can attract all sorts of dirt and dust over time which might harbor bacteria if not properly cleaned. So far, I’ve covered a lot of the good points about this grill.

This thing gets sticky when you rub sauce & oil onto it like crazy so you can easily get your meat to stick to the grate. Since we had to wait until every burger got to 145 degrees, many of them were more on the well-done Blackstone Adventure side by the time each test ended. Even so, they had a nice char on the outside and were pretty tasty. That was generally the case across all of our grills, except for the Char-Broil Commercial Double Header.

It can also be an interesting accesory to have if you aren’t a fan of hanging around the grill all day long. If you want to cook food more gradually, then it is simply a matter of leaving the middle burner off. The warranty details coverage against rust and burn through for this period. However, fading and other typical wear and tear will be not be covered. Shelves are usually made of stainless steel or painted steel (some using a powder-coating process), though a few are made of plastic.

We assume the four other batteries power the igniter, LED lights, and fuel gauge. Though the smart features might be useful in some cases, we think that for most people, the functionality isn’t quite useful enough to warrant the several-hundred-dollar price hike . As was previously mentioned, the E-210 is the smallest grill in Weber’s Spirit series. Compact in size, the unit can be fit mostly anywhere without a problem. Despite this fact, the grill offers a decent 360 square inches of cooking surface.

After giving the ribs 10 minutes to rest, we gave ’em a try. They were tender and pretty juicy, but not falling off the bone. Next time I’d try cooking them on indirect low heat on the main rack to see if they’d be even more tender. The Spirit II is similar to the $850 Weber Genesis II E-310.

Plus, with the gas tank stationed at the side of the grill, you’ve got the whole body of the cart to keep adding tools and accessories close to hand while cooking. While the Weber Spirit II E-310 is Weber’s entry-level gas grill, it packs a lot of punch performance-wise and was our best-reviewed gas grill for putting gorgeous sear marks on burgers. It’ll also thoroughly cook your chicken and create picture-perfect asparagus spears. This is a grill that will stand the test of time to give you enjoyable BBQs for years to come.
