The Shark Vertex DuoClean PowerFins Cordless Stick Vacuum was the clear winner in our search for the best Shark vacuum—and best vacuum in general. The Rocket Pet Pro ships with just two attachments, a crevice tool and a pet multitool. At $300, the Shark Rocket Pet Pro sure costs a lot less than Dyson’s flagship stick vac.
We’ve established that these Dyson vacuums are impressive, so what’s the downside? The main one is that the V15 is an exceptionally expensive vacuum cleaners. And there’s no sign that it’ll be more durable than other, more affordable cordless vacuums, let alone plug-in vacuums that clean just as well but cost many hundreds of dollars less. We are cautiously optimistic about this Black+Decker’s reliability, at least relative to the sorry standards of other cordless vacuums.
