Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max Multi-surface Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner Vacuums Furniture & Appliances

Despite having recently cleaned our wooden floor, a clean with the Cross Wave showed how much dirt had been missed. The handle release sounds like you break it with the loud click. There is a tendency for the rollers to leave streaks but we are experimenting with reduced amounts of cleaning liquid. To test out the Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max, I put it through a series of real-world tests, combining both vacuum and hard floor cleaning. First, I started by spreading a teaspoon of flour onto the kitchen floor, right up against the skirting board.

The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max’s real-world suction performance is poor. It uses a less powerful suction motor than the corded BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro and is likely to have more trouble drawing out debris wedged deep within cracks and crevices. Like the corded model, swapping between the ‘Hard Floor’ and ‘Area Rug’ modes doesn’t impact suction performance, as these settings don’t alter brushroll height or motor output.

Still, the lack of a power cord makes it noticeably easier to maneuver compared to the BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro. The dyson robot vacuum Max has some disadvantages in dealing with pet hair. It does a fantastic job of dealing with pet hair on bare floors, but you might need to make an extra pass to collect all of it on low-pile carpeting. Its brushroll is pretty tangle-prone, but thankfully you can remove it to clear away any stuck-on hair. Since you can’t configure it as a handheld vacuum, it isn’t suitable for cleaning pet hair from furniture.

A powerful 36V Li-Ion battery ensures you get constant performance throughout the entire cleaning process while enjoying the cordless freedom. It’s expensive, though, so if your bissell crosswave cordless budget is smaller then check out my guide to the best hard floor cleaners has alternatives. In fact the only thing that lets it down a little is the useless charging interface.

INCLUDES two Multi-Surface Brush Rolls, 2 trial size bottles of the Hard Floor Sanitize formula, 2 trial size bottles of the Multi-Surface Cleaner Formula, and a 3-in-1 docking station. It takes some muscle to care it from room to room and upstairs, which kind of hinders the beauty of how portable the vacuum is. If the self-cleaning feature wasn’t enough, the Bissel Crosswave Max has more to make it even more low maintenance. Let us know in the discussions if you come across another variant of this vacuum, and we’ll update our review.

It feels lightweight in your hand, while its cordless design ensures you won’t trip over a power cord. It performs remarkably well on bare surfaces, though it can have a hard time on low-pile carpeting. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max isn’t suitable for cleaning high-pile carpet. It doesn’t have enough power to keep its brushroll spinning on dense high-pile carpeting, and its relatively weak suction motor can’t draw debris from carpet fibers. So, as we have mentioned, this machine comes with a 3-in-1 docking station for storing. You will need to put this docking station next to a plug socket.

The only issue you might have is that there are now detail tools, so you may still have to clean some areas by hand if you can’t physically get the CrossWave Cordless Max’s head into a spot. I just installed vinyl planks and the Crosswave is greatest product for my new floors. Ironically, cleaning the Bissell after use has more steps than using the vacuum to wipe up your floors. After the self-cleaning cycle, our editor had to disassemble the parts, wash by hand, and leave out to dry before assembling again. Vacuum and wash your floors at the same time with the cordless freedom of this irobot vacuum cleaner MAX Floor and Carpet Cleaner with Wet-Dry Vacuum.
