The shaft for the end part comes out of a coupler. In the case of this system since the motor is on the end of the trimmer head – that sort of negates the attachment idea. Otherwise you would put motors in each attachment. No more mixing gas and oil but still having the power. It’s a good company that has well designed tools and great warranties.

It’s hard to overstate what an improvement this is to what’s often the single-worst aspect of using a string trimmer.
