Not every man will travel with an old-fashioned toiletry kit, but he’ll want to travel with his favorite shaver. In the Series 3, the middle trimmer isn’t as advanced as the ones available in the Series 5. All the features they have in common are more advanced in the Series 5. The Series 3 trimmer will gather the hair for cutting. The Series 5 trimmer will actually lift hairs that are lying flat to make the stay in place for cutting. Hair never grows in the same direction, and some of them are unruly.
Unfortunately, the Series 5 charger cord is the shortest of any major shaver brands. As I mentioned earlier in the review, you can lock the shaving unit into one of 5 different positions using the big button on the front of the shaver. This is best used when movement would make shaving tricky, like just above your upper lip. Despite this flaw, the trimmer works best for detailing (sideburns, goatees etc.). The small size of the trimming head means that it will take forever to trim off an entire beard.
Everything you love about the Series 3 is enhanced and expanded in the Series 5. If you love the way the Series 3 moves along your face with the contouring, you’ll find that the Series 5 does it better. The Series 3 and Series 5 both have features that Philips Norelco Shaver are focused on the comfort of the user. Those who are sensitive will find that the Series 3 has pressure sensitive blades that retract if you put too much pressure on your face. The Series 3 and Series 5 have some very important features in common.

It is super secured to handle with wet hand because of its textured rubber grip that feels super comfortable at the grasp.
Only use the special cord set provided with your appliance. Indicator lights let me know about the battery charge. It took a good 2 minutes before I was confident I had cleaned the shaver.
