I Tested the Ozark Trail 10

The poles are made of fiberglass and have hardware that is either aluminum or stainless steel. It does a good job of keeping you dry on a light shower but when exposed to heavy rain it actually does leak. It would be fair to say that this tent is water-resistant instead.

Car campers, overlanders, and even backyard pros can find something that will keep them comfortable and hold up when the conditions turn. Features such as ease of setup, take down, and even peak height make things a little more pleasant, whether you are at the local campground or in a national park. Any camping tent should have room for you and your family’s favorite sleeping pad, air mattress, or cot setup along with the right airflow and enough space to make everyone happy. In the world of tents, most of the comfort comes from having plenty of space, lots of room for gear, tall ceilings, and easy-to-access doors. Other features that increase comfort in a tent include windows, proper ventilation, and sectioned rooms that allow for more privacy for older kids and adults.

Not much about the technical specifications used in these tents are mentioned. Even so, unless you need tents for extreme weather conditions or ultralight designs, Ozark Trail tents won’t let you down. But considering the price, we were satisfied with the space-to-weight ratio. The problem is, it’s too small to offer complete protection from heavy rains. Also, users mentioned that the stability isn’t the best in windy conditions. Still, it’s a good choice for fair-weather hiking trips.

Not only is it the perfect tent, but it includes the 4-person dome tent, 2 sleeping bags, 2 pillows, 2 foam sleeping pads, 2 chairs, 2 dry bags, 1 lantern and 1 carry-all bag. On top of that, the set-up will literally take you seconds – simply unfold it and sort of the telescopic poles and, hey presto, you’re done! This lofty, uniquely designed 10 person tent works well for a family camping trip. This tent is built with Ozark Trail’s proprietary instant tent system, which means it pops up in just two minutes without any extra leg work from you. Plus, with a large gear organizing system, as well as electrical cord access, there’s nothing this tent can’t do. A mesh roof, four doors, and twelve windows make it easy to get plenty of airflow into the Base Camp tent.

It’s best for 5 to 6 campers with luggage for the best comfort levels. On the other hand, at 6.26 pounds this isn’t the lightest among 2-person tents. It definitely won’t be great in strong winds, heavy rain, or even light rain though.

Plus, you can remove the fly if you fancy an extra breeze or a chance to gaze at the stars. Although you could technically squeeze four people in each section, we recommend no more than three if you like some wiggle room. Alternatively, you could even opt to have two bedrooms coleman 6 person tent and make one room a porch area – the choice is up to you. For occasional campers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a tent, this is a great option. Tall users were able to walk around comfortably without hunching. Also, you can divide the space into two rooms by using the room divider. Considering there’s no vestibule space, we wouldn’t recommend this tent for ten users.

I never recommend poor quality products, or create false reviews to make sales. It is my intention to explain products so you can make an informed decisions on which ones suit your needs best. I love tents and writing about them is my great pleasure. So the base is T-shaped and what you see in the picture is the central part below and the screen porch in the upper part of the picture. And it also has a total of six windows that provide excellent ventilation on warm evenings. This means the floor and walls are two separate materials that are stitched together along the floor seams.
