The removable reservoir is not only easier to refill, but it makes it much more convenient to clean. Keurig isn’t the only brand to dream up a single-serve coffee maker and put it on the market. The K Mini Plus definitely has some competition on the market, so it’s a good idea to check these models out before making a final buying decision. The K Mini Plus takes up next to no room with its 5-inch width.

However, if you prefer a larger water reservoir, the K-Slim may still be the best option for you. This range of drinks options is one of the main reasons that Keurig machines are second only to drip coffee makers in popularity in the US. But the bottom line is that the Cuisinart Coffee is a simple, inexpensive single-serve coffee maker that’s well worth your time and money.

Keurig K-Mini

It’s new and widely available but personally I like the shorter style of the K15 over the skinnier/taller style of the modern K-Mini and K-mini Plus. The old Keurig models B31 and K10 were replaced after a recall was announced in late 2014. For me the storage compartment is annoying but I know full well a lot of people will like this added perk.

The water reservoir is removable, holds more water, and has a water filter offer. This machine is larger than the K Mini, though, so it may not be ideal if you don’t have a lot of counter space. You also get a water reservoir where your brew cup consists of Hamilton Beach 100% of what is in the reservoir when you press the brew button. Minimum amount of water is 6-ounces, maximum is 12-ounces. If you put 6oz in then you get a 6oz cup of coffee out – 12oz in and you get a 12 oz cup of coffee out, and so forth in between.

The K-Mini brewer has a handy drip tray that can hold up to a cup of liquid in case you accidentally forget to slide your cup/mug under the brew nozzle. To make emptying and rinsing easier, the drip tray is removable. But the problem is that K-cups can get expensive, really fast. The price per cup of coffee isn’t quite up there with a Starbucks cappuccino, but it’s not that far behind, either.
