Since it’s 4k, you can not only crop into the video footage quite comfortably, but also grab video stills to be saved as JPEG photo files too. Whilst still photo quality is acceptable, it’s clear that the Phantom 4’s strengths are as a video recording tool. As for the Phantom 4’s still image files themselves, I have to say I was a little disappointed. Whilst the 4k video footage is nothing short of mind blowing, the RAW image files from the Phantom 4 aren’t as impressive. The gimble is motorized, allowing full wireless control via the controller.
Basically, it allows you to set up a single-point flight path on the fly, assuming that point is in front of the drone. Combine this with the drone’s automatic takeoff with a swipe and a tap in the app and, well, yes, anyone could put the in the air and “fly” it. The Obstacle Sensing System only sees things in front of the drone. You still need a tablet or phone ready to go along with the controller and drone battery.

The DJI Phantom 4 RTK, released in October 2018, was designed for extremely accurate aerial mapping using real-time kinematic positioning. In addition to RTK, it uses a redundant GNSS module, installed to maintain flight stability in signal-poor regions such as dense cities.
A quadcopter, the phantom 4 RTK maneuvers smoothly during take-off, flight and landing. Once you’ve planned your mission, the flight is autonomous unless you choose to control manually. You can choose between map view and in-flight camera view—a nice feature that works within a 7 km (4.3 mi) range. However, if I just embraced the controls and corrected as I flew, I found it much easier. If 4K is too much for your system to handle, you can shoot at 2.7K at standard frame rates up to 30fps at 65Mbps, or at 48, 50, or 60fps at 80Mbps. 1080p footage is compressed at 50Mbps dji mini 2 fly more combo up to 30fps, at 65Mbps up to 60fps, and at 100Mbps at 120fps.
