Cuisinart Coffee Maker, Electric Kettle & More

The Bonavita BV382510V 1.0L Digital Variable Temperature Gooseneck, our former budget pick, is a small, 1-liter gooseneck kettle that’s lightweight and easy to hold. As with the OXO pour-over kettle discussed above, you can set the Bonavita to any temperature between 140 and 212 °F. It can also hold a set temperature for up to an hour—30 minutes longer than both the OXO and the Cuisinart GK-1 gooseneck kettles. However, the Bonavita takes longer to come to a boil than either of those kettles, and it lacks audible cues to let you know when your water is ready. We removed this kettle as a pick after noticing too many complaints about rust and other durability issues.

It’s perfect for use in hotel rooms, especially those that accommodate multiple guests. Compact and easy to use – simply place the single-serve pod in the machine and brew! Comes in a Matte Black or Matte Black with Stainless Steel finish. The brews 12 cups (60-oz) in under 10 minutes for maximum flavor and aroma. Multiple nozzles spray water evenly onto ground coffee, fully saturating grounds and maximizing brewing quality.

Cuisinart Coffee

I’ll discuss my experiences using the HomeBarista later in this Center review. When Arne isn’t testing out the latest automatic espresso machine to hit the market, you’ll find him sipping on a tall glass of cold brew. Most Cuisinart coffee makers actually have a small capacity mode for brewing 1 to 4 cups of coffee with no flavor loss. Enjoy custom-crafted, barista-quality coffee just the way you like it. The intuitive display guides you through the steps for customized settings. Integrated scale counts coffee grounds for precise coffee/water ratio.

And like the more expensive models, it has a low capacity mode for brewing smaller quantities without sacrificing flavor. Unlike most drip electric coffee makers, it has an initial pre-wetting Hamilton Beach stage to let your ground beans bloom, and it has a custom-designed laser-etched stainless steel filter for optimal extraction . The result of both of these features is the most flavorful cup.

And rather than being a closed loop, the handle is open at the bottom, making it just a little more accessible. We don’t think these features are worth the price jump over the Cuisinart CPK-17 (especially since the IQ has only a one-year warranty). But for someone who prioritizes a more streamlined look or an ergonomic handle, the price difference might be worth it. This French press is made Hamilton Beach from insulated stainless steel that will keep your drink a consistent temperature, and it yields clean, full-flavored coffee. The all-directional pour lid makes it easy to serve, and the nonstick interior makes for fast cleanup. Some people swear by French press coffee, and if you want to see what the hype is about, you can’t go wrong with the Fellow Clara French Press Coffee Maker.
