Three of my trikes have been right side drive, and one was left wheel drive. That seems to happen most while turning right with a left power wheel. Might just be me but 75% of manufacturers I’ve bought from agree and power the right wheel. The simple solution is not to turn so fast, so I usually don’t. A few times a year I forget, but when I do, it is only loss of power for an instance. I’ve read there are pros and cons to both 1 and 2 wheel drive, but I’ve only had single wheel drive, so I don’t know what they are.

Hi all I would like to know if anyone has mounted an engine on a Scwinn meridian trike before and if you have any tips on how to do it. I am thinking of putting a foru stroke from bicycle-engines.com on it maybe even a two stoke. Also can you use a Schwinn Meridian shift kit on it like the one from sickbikeparts.com any help would be greatly appriciated. I can put that Schwinn on hold and check other options but I am wondering is bicycle with differential much better option or would one-wheel drive be enough?
