I had bought this tent thinking it was going to be dry, man was I wrong. I will never buy an Ozark Trail tent in my life and I will tell everyone I know that if they buy one what to expect. And that is you will never be dry in one because they suck bad. Thank you OZARK for making camping nights with small children just a little more difficult!!!!

It gets hot inside with everything closed, but it stays reasonably cool with everything open. In winter, however, you can seal everything up to trap all the heat in and even bury the outer skirts in dirt or snow to ensure an excellent thermal seal around the bottom. Rain fly is too big — it needs one side cut differently to allow to get in and out of the tent. The frame needs to be solid to support a heavy canvas’s weight and sustain strong winds without bending. The straight walls help with this so that most of the joints around the framework have 90-degree angles. The poles are a combination of steel used for the legs and fiberglass used for the roof. The poles attach to the tent with clips, sleeves on the roof, and pin and ring connectors on the base. With so much mesh on the ceiling, I would not camp with this tent in a cold environment.
