It functions more as a double stroller than wagon in that sense. You hope to have extra storage space when you buy a stroller wagon. My final verdict on the Evenflo Pivot Xplore is that if you are a parent who spends any significant amount of time outside, this is a must-have product. If you need to use the wagon on paths with tree roots and branches, it is best to shift the handle to pull-mode. The pulling action lets you lift the front wheels over bumps as you pull and the larger wheels in the rear will roll over all but really big roots. The handle only goes to 40 inches and could stand to be higher for taller parents. It is comfortable but we prefer the handles with a more rounded shape.
