Weber Grills Spirit II E-210 Freestanding Propane Gas Grill Black

The powerful GS4 grilling system lets Weber perform like no other grill. GS4 features four key components working in harmony to create excellent, well-balanced barbecued food. Most small and average-sized grills have two separate burners, controlled independently, or one burner with independently controlled halves. Some average-size grills have up to four burners with corresponding controls large grills often have six. Additional burner controls generally allow the cook more flexibility. Burner can be located as the main burner, side burner, rotisserie burner, or any combination of burners.

Make every effort to avoid scratching it – so only use a stainless steel brush if you absolutely have to. What’s more, avoid using metal on it – stick to plastic cleaning tools. In fact, I would readily recommend this model to those who are getting started. From start to finish, this offers an easy yet high quality grilling experience. This can seem like such a simple feature, but it isn’t every day that you find it. And, it doesn’t matter if you grill occassionally or on a frequent basis, being able to tell just how much fuel is in your propane tank is going to make your life a lot easier either way.

Weber also switched the direction of the rods on the upper rack so that they now run back to front, instead of side to side. This makes slipping a spatula under the food so much easier. The enclosed cabinet cart protects your propane tank and offers additional storage for your grilling tools. It also has two tool hooks to hang your spatula or tongs when you aren’t using them but need them close at hand. The two side tables offer you plenty of space to keep seasonings and plates at the ready. This grill features a one-touch infinity ignition system, porcelain-coated flavorizer bars, and an effective grease management system.

“I emailed the photos on Thursday, and on Saturday an incident rep called me. I got a gentle lecture on cleaning and safety, but then he said they’d be sending me a whole-new cookbox —no charge, no shipping fees. Given the situation and the cost, I felt like this was one of the easiest product issues I’ve dealt with, and I’m thrilled I neither had to make a janky repair nor spend money on a new grill! ” We are definitely not saying that you should leave your grease trap full. But we are saying that if you do, the warranty and customer service are absolutely worth the small premium you pay for Weber grills over cheaper brands.

We wish the bars of the Spirit II E-310’s warming racks ran front to back, parallel to the main grates, like they do on our upgrade pick, the Genesis E-325s. That way, you could easily slide a spatula under stuff that’s warming. As it is, the warming-rack bars run edge to edge, and you have to awkwardly jimmy a spatula in there sideways.

The compact open-cart design and the practical folding side table makes it fit even on small spaces, and you have all the basics you need to get familiar with gas grilling. Invite a couple of friends over, push the ignition and enjoy the special atmosphere that surrounds the grill. This generally means that the grill comes with a dedicated rotisserie burner; the motor and spit are usually purchased separately. A dedicated rotisserie burner is usually located on the back of the firebox, slightly above the cooking grates; some models use the grill’s main burner. This feature allows you to roast meat very evenly, yielding a flavor that some people prefer to that of grilled food. A good gas grill should last a decade or more, provided you clean it after every use and protect it from the elements.

More convenient is a battery-operated electronic igniter, which usually ignites the gas on the first try. Some grills also have lighting holes, on the side of or beneath the grill, that can be used with a match should the igniter fail. While burners remain the grill’s most-replaced part, most are warranted for only 3 to 5 years. 2 stainless steel burners are connected to the front panel and allow for temperature control even during indirect cooking and battery-powered ignition system. When choosing a weber spirit 2 gas grill, first decide what size you need. We think a three-burner grill is large enough for most needs, with plenty of space to cook for a family dinner or a backyard BBQ.

It’s doable, but it requires more attention from the griller to make sure the chicken is evenly cooked. Cooking with indirect heat on a three-burner grill is more hands-off because the food sits over the middle burner, which you leave turned off. The right and left burners surround the food with heat—basically creating an outdoor oven. But with a two-burner grill, cooking with indirect heat means the food gets heat from only one side, while it sits over the other, inactive burner. So you have to maneuver and rotate your chicken or roast to make sure it cooks evenly throughout. This is not impossible, but it definitely takes some attention and finesse.

An aesthetically pleasing grill comes with an elegant design, manages space well, and blends in well with its surroundings. Both Spirit and Spirit II grills are priced at the higher end of the spectrum (when compared to other grills in the market. Among themselves, Spirit II is more affordable).
