The brush bar on the Dyson 360 Eye vacuum cleaner extends to the full width of the machine, meaning that it doesn’t rely on side sweepers to reach the edges of the room. The camera navigation is a lot better than expected, and it doesn’t have as much difficulty finding its docking station as previous models did. The 360 Eye, on the other hand, uses tank tracks to be able to traverse any terrain. It does an excellent job on hard floors as well as high pile carpet.

If you just look at the specs, you’d think that the Dyson 360 Eye would be the best robotic vacuum available right now. However, unlike the basic mapping of the 360 Eye, the Heurist really ups the game with personalized zones and room settings. If, like me, you have got side units and appliances that you do want the gap underneath cleaning then the Dyson isn’t for you. You do end up sacrificing large parts of your flooring as no-go zones due to its taller stature. This model will likely be launched inside the United States later this year. It’s not a lock – there’s no absolute definite answer until Dyson makes an announcement, but an appearance with the FCC like this generally means we’re going to see the product appear in stores in the near future.

However, we found that they were a little too powerful, and sometimes kept pushing after bumping into obstacles. This caused the vacuum to rock thinner items of furniture such as lamps or coat-stands. Its metallic blue casing looks slick, while ensuring that the vacuum is easy to spot. We loved the headlights on this robot’s 360° camera – these were effective at lighting the way when the robot went into the dark corners and under furniture.
