I just installed vinyl planks and the Crosswave is greatest product for my new floors. I bought this for the cordless convenience and because it stated that it gets the edges since my previous cheaper version leaves a line around my whole house of dirt. If you have dirt on your floor it just turns into a mud mess and leaves dirty streaks everywhere even having to stop and clean the roller 10 times. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max’s range is limited only by the remaining battery life and the room left within its dirt compartment.
The Bissell Cordless Max multi-surface cleaner has a 36 V lithium-ion battery. You get approximly 30 minutes of cordless cleaning power. The Max’s real-world suction performance is poor. It uses a less powerful suction motor than the corded BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro and is likely to have more trouble drawing out debris wedged deep within cracks and crevices. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max is reasonably easy to store.
I should say it does an okay job with corners, but not as well as it would do with a hose. So If I wanted to wash down my furniture I actually have to lift up my vacuum and place it on my furniture and work it back and forth. The website does say that they have improved this feature, but it’s still not ideal for those areas because there are no attachments.
I don’t have wifi so i don’t have whatever that offers. I will try to get used to it and decide if I want to send it back. The shark cordless Max does an okay job of handling debris in cracks. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max isn’t designed for use on high-pile carpet. Its brushroll motor isn’t strong enough to keep the roller moving on thick carpeting, making it very hard to push around. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max’s performance on low-pile carpet is poor.
This way, I can alternate the two between cleaning my floors. The crosswave is much more expensive with many more features but essentially does the same thing as the pet pro model. I don’t think it has a strong enough mopping function to clean grout lines. It does a great job at refreshing everything, but it’s not as powerful as say a steam mop.
The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max uses a conventional upright configuration and isn’t suitable for cleaning the inside of your car. I love having a clean floor without the hours of time it generally would take me. Although, I will say that it’s tough to do any edge cleaning. After the warranty is up, feel free to use whatever you like. Try releasing the trigger after making a pass and going over the wet spot a few times without spraying. The Bissell CrossWave is not supposed to leave dirty streaks.
Still, the lack of a power cord makes it noticeably easier to maneuver compared to the BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max and Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet share an upright configuration, but they’re for different uses. The BISSELL is a hybrid vacuum/mop and can deal with stains and liquid spills with minimal difficulty.
