Walmart has the Shark Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum for under $150 for Black Friday

It has no trouble dealing with pet hair on this surface, but you’ll probably need to make an extra pass or two to fully clear away large and fine debris. It’s decently well-built, incurs minimal ownership costs, and is somewhat easy to maintain. However, its battery life is on the short end of the scale, and it’s somewhat bulky for a vacuum of this type. Right now, based on our tests, the cordless vacuum with the best suction power is the Dyson V15 Detect.

Once you make the switch to cordless, it’ll be hard to believe how you ever managed to get by without one. To help you find the best cordless vacuum for your needs and your budget, we’ve tested out 10 leading models from top brands including Dyson, Shark, Tineco, LG and Bissell. If you’re sticking to a budget, you’ll still get a good clean from the Shark NV360 Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe Upright Vacuum.

All four vacuums have simple one-touch emptying where you push a button and the bottom pops open and the dust is supposed to fall out without ever having to touch it. However, with all four vacuums I often have to use my hand to get the crap in the dustbin because it doesn’t fall out on its own . I’ve found that I can get my vacuuming done in about half the time with a cordless as I did with my old corded vacuum.

The Pet Plus is very well-suited to vacuuming high-pile carpet. On the downside, battery performance lags behind that of newer cordless vacuums. The A11 Hero is a good cordless vacuum for pet hair as well. Barely a trace of the material remained after the machine vacuumed midpile carpeting and hardwood floors.

The Shark Cordless Pet Plus isn’t especially hard to store. You can dismount its canister body and slot it lower down the wand to minimize its vertical footprint when not in use. Unfortunately, there’s no rack or onboard storage for the included attachments, so you’ll have to stow them away elsewhere. If you come across another variant of this vacuum, let us know in the discussions, and we’ll update our review.

The canister isn’t very big, which may not bode well for larger cleaning jobs. However, you’ll enjoy a light on the floor head that does allow you to see into the nooks and crannies of your home. A good stick vacuum should be lightweight, but not necessarily light-duty. The Shark Rocket Ultra-Light Corded Stick Vacuum made an impression on our tester for its maneuverability and effective suction on all types of flooring.

Now that you know all the ins and outs of Dysons and Sharks, which vacuum should you buy? Check connection on the motor and make sure the impeller is not jammed. Check connections on the charging port and check inside to see if the connection inside the port are damaged.

All four are quite easy for me to carry up and down stairs . The v11 ran for a total of 37 minutes under my test conditions. Next came the Dyson v10 that ran for 32 minutes, the Shark Vertex that ran for 29 minutes, and then the Shark Rocket Pet Pro that ran for 26 minutes. If your house has more hardwoods than mine, your run times would be longer. For more live deals, click here to shop Walmart’s Black Friday Deals for Days sale and save on thousands of products.

As a cordless stick vacuum, this model is the opposite of clunky and is easy to maneuver around furniture, stairs, and corners. The battery is designed to last up to 40 minutes on a single charge, so you shouldn’t have any trouble getting the whole house done without having to recharge it. The shark cordless Pet Plus is great for vacuuming stairs. While it’s on the heavy side for a stick vacuum, it’s still pretty lightweight compared to most conventional canister and upright vacuums. Since it’s cordless, you won’t have to worry about tripping over a power cord while climbing and descending staircases. From there we can calculate the percentage of dirt and debris pickup for every run and the average amount of soil a vacuum manages to remove.
