So moving the Greenworks around on a flat surface, like a driveway or lawn, is no problem, but getting it up a set of patio stairs or a curb is difficult. In fact, we had to fully lift it, which is awkward, given how the handle sits and where the center of gravity is. The Ryobi and DeWalt just bump right up a set of stairs with minimal difficulty. The cordless idea has potential and got us thinking about ways it could work better. One solution would be for the washer to have some kind of pumping ability so that you could drop the inlet hose into a 5-gallon bucket.

It was pretty closely tied to the Sun Joe, but the more we used the Ivation, the more it became apparent that the Ivation team put lots of effort into polishing this machine’s details. This thing climbs up slopes like a champ, and you can simply lock each individual wheel to make sure it doesn’t slide off the slope. It also has no trouble rolling over grass that is 4 or 5 inches tall. And it can handle some stones or pebbles without immediately tipping over. In fact, you need to actively try in order to make the ePX3000 tip over.
