I have to say, overall, I was impressed with what a good cooking performance the weber q 2200 offers up. Although it has a few limitations that you wouldn’t necessarily find with a whole grill, I did enjoy grilling on it. This portable grill is far from cheap but I would argue that you are investing in the Weber brand and this is certainly worth the extra cash. It isn’t just about the features and how well the grill works – just take a look at the quality of the components. Go hiking in nature with a grill as vibrant as the scenery. Travel on or off the beaten path, camp in the woods or near the shore.
Just set up the grill so that the lid opens away from the wind, creating a natural wind barrier. This 14.5 x 27 x 16.5 inches grill includes large control knobs and grip handles, comfortable side handles, and sturdy cradles, making it extremely user-friendly and portable. When I checked on the grill five minutes later, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the lid thermometer already read 400 degrees.
The 2200 gets amazing reviews and, thanks to its aluminum and rigid plastic construction, does not rust. The resistance to rust is really important if you plan on keeping the grill uncovered outside or near a swimming pool. Love that you don’t have to haul around bags of charcoal.
