First “cleaning” brew & first cup of coffee was fine, then it failed to empty the water reservoir completely for the second cup. Several test runs were irrational; some brewed, others didn’t. Meanwhile, the K-Mini Plus brews between six and 12oz of coffee, determined by how much water you pour in the tank. This affects the overall flavor because the K-Slim cannot brew less than 8oz and doesn’t have the “Strong Brew” function.

To make coffee, pour between Cuisinart Coffee 6 – 12 ounces of water into the tank and close the lid. Insert one k-cup, close the handle and press Brew button . The light will pulse while it’s heating the water which will take approximately 2 minutes. When the light turns solid, the coffee will start brewing.
