I’ve heard people rave about them but I had the misconception that they were overly expensive or required a separate air compressor. But that changed when I got my hands on the Sun Joe Electric Pressure Washer SPX3000. Next thing you know, the grime is disappearing from your pavement. I want to thank Sun Joe for the opportunity to review this product. Therefore, neither of them will, out of the box, allow for a higher freedom of movement around the unit.
Using extension cords, unapproved detergents, or anything prohibited in the user manual can void the warranty. On car wheels, caked on dirt didn’t come off without some manual scrubbing. Bird droppings and tree sap on the rest of the car came off easily with the gray nozzle. To operate the machine, attach your garden hose to the faucet and the other end to the hose inlet on the machine.
To their support person’s credit, they are sending out a replacement one. I hope the new one is better sun joe spx 3000 and if it is, I’ll post here. Honestly though I am not holding my breath but I am willing to see.

This lightweight, economical power washer is tough on dirt but easy on your wallet and your back. In fact, it’s way better than most units and even garden hoses on cars, boats, lawn furniture, play equipment, decks, masonry, and siding. It delivers enough power to even remove algae, mildew, and mulch stains, and in the process, your work is only confined to pulling/adjusting the trigger on the spray gun.
Assembly took about 30 minutes, and while not particularly difficult, it was still the hardest setup of all pressure washers we reviewed. This machine is also fairly quiet, reaching an average of 81 decibels. The biggest problem we had with the Sun Joe SPX3000 pressure washer was putting it together – a process more tedious than with the other pressure washers we tested. Using the Sun Joe SPX3000 was a mostly positive experience. The pressure gun is easy to use and it has a trigger lock, which can improve safety and protect the trigger from damage while in storage.
