Review: Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max 2554A Wet-Dry Vacuum Mop

Well, once I purchased the Bissell Crosswave last year, I quickly found out the answer – Yes! I discussed last year how the Crosswave worked beautifully on my floors dyson robot vacuum and really made it easy to freshen up my space. We purchase our own vacuums and put them under the same test bench, so that you can compare the results easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to this product we were using a vacuum to pick up the dirt and then a wet Swiffer mop. I was dubious because of the price point, but since its use our floor bissell crosswave cordless looks almost brand new and feels better on our bare feet. Hoping it lasts a long time and would certainly recommend. Note that you should only use this cleaner on rugs that are marked as suitable for wet cleaning .

Its motor is not as powerful as dedicated dry vacuums or mops, however, but makes up for it with cordless, daily-use convenience for quick cleanings. It does not clean narrow grouts well, but because the dirty water is scooped up right away, grout is left looking better than with a regular mop. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max 2554 and Hoover ONEPWR Evolve Pet share an upright configuration, but they’re for different uses. The BISSELL is a hybrid vacuum/mop and can deal with stains and liquid spills with minimal difficulty.

An easy to use multi-surface cleaner that vacuums and mops your floors simultaneously. For use on hard floors, carpets and shark cordless even rugs, it’s great for picking up pet hair and large debris. It’s also easy to use, and it cleans itself afterwards.

It feels lightweight in your hand, while its cordless design ensures you won’t trip over a power cord. It performs remarkably well on bare surfaces, though it can have a hard time on low-pile carpeting. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max isn’t suitable for cleaning high-pile carpet. It doesn’t have enough power to keep its brushroll spinning on dense high-pile carpeting, and its relatively weak suction motor can’t draw debris from carpet fibers. So, as we have mentioned, this machine comes with a 3-in-1 docking station for storing. You will need to put this docking station next to a plug socket.

Simply fill the top container to the fresh water line of choice and pour in the provided Bissell cleaning solution up to the second line, about one centimetre above . Clean all types of floors with this all-in-one multi-surface cleaner without the hassle of cords. A dual-action brush roll and a two-tank water system means you only need one cleaning tool to tackle hardwood floors, carpets and area rugs. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max is reasonably maneuverable. Its floorhead pivots, allowing you to maneuver around obstacles pretty easily. It can be hard to push around on low and high-pile rugs, as its brushroll can get bogged down on carpet fibers pretty easily.

The Crosswave also made it super easy to give my carpet a quick freshening up. As I said in my first blog, it does not completely replace shampooing your carpet. I have had the Bissell Crosswave Max for about a year now, and I am ready to give another review.

I didn’t notice right within the 30 days because I but it in the winter so I wasn’t going barefoot as much, so it was past the 30 day satisfaction guarantee. I reached out to them and they sent me more cleaner….VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PRODUCT and would not recommend it unless you only want it for the vacuuming part. We are very happy with the cross wave cordless floor cleaner.
