My chicken, ribs, lamb, steak, and fish were done in no time and came out nice and tender. So convenient that a few different food items can be cooked together. My meal I.e. roast chicken and roast veggies were ready in 10 mins… Without a doubt a great investment and value for money. I can’t wait to use the dehydrate function for those yummy dried fruits. Baking, dehydrating, (air-)frying, grilling, reheating and roasting will never seem like hard work again, once you have one of these in your kitchen.

The Instant Vortex Air Fryer fries, roasts, bakes and reheats to perfection, so you can make all your favorite fried sides and snacks with less of the oil and none of the mess. While the machine claims to broil, it has a set temperature of 400º. Compared to my oven at 550º, that isn’t nearly hot enough.
The Bake smart program is used for making cakes, muffins, pastries, and vegetable side dishes. By default, it starts at 30 minutes of cooking time with a temperature of 365F. You can adjust the time from 1 to 60 minutes within 180 to 400 degrees. Delicious and juicy chicken breast can be ready to eat in just 35 minutes using the Instant Pot Vortex.
The air fryer doesn’t come with a recipe booklet. Instead, you’ll need to go online or use the Instant app for your smartphone or tablet for inspiration. There are also no cooking charts or guides, which means that some experimentation with regards to the ideal cooking temperature and time will be necessary.
I predict that the trays will be what I use most often in recipe development as I test through all of my homemade fried recipes. I’m really impressed with my new instant vortex Plus Air Fryer! Love testing new recipes and enjoying the delicious food I was able to prepare in it!

The first function of this air fryer oven is the air fryer function. I have used it to bake croissants and other goodies. Have also used the airfryer feature — fries to perfection. Have roasted a leg of lamb with potatoes on the Roast function and the lamb was succulent and juicy and the potatoes nice and crispy. Absolutely love it — don’t know how I survived without it. From a size perspective, Instant Vortex and Plus aren’t 100% identical.
