New Application Helps DLA Track COVID

If you are fully vaccinated, check the most up-to-date CDC guidance for information on testing. Your VA or community care provider will also call you with your test results when they’re COVID 19 Test Kits available. If you have concerns about your results, call or send a secure message to your provider. We offer diagnostic lab-based tests for Veterans who are enrolled in VA health care.

To get a free at-home test kit, visit one of the participating locations during clinic hours and request a test kit. You do not have to provide health insurance information and no ID checks are required. At-home testing is not required but is encouraged for students who plan to spend significant time outside of the Northwestern community.

If you return your kit in a timely manner, you will not be charged but we may bill your insurance. Kits will be provided and processed by our partner, LabCorp. LabCorp will overnight a testing kit to you, Monday through Friday. LabCorp kits are only for individuals 18 years of age or older. Covered members are eligible to be reimbursed up to $12 per single test, but not more that the cost per test. A maximum of 8 tests per month, per plan member may be submitted for reimbursement.

We’ve worked with Ready to offer no-cost, same-day, in-home rapid testing with trained health care professionals. If you feel sick or may have been exposed, they’ll send a Responder right to your home or preferred location where you feel safe. All U.S. households can request a total of sixteen COVID-19 at-home rapid tests to be delivered for free to their home through the United States Postal Service . Your diagnostic test and visit to diagnose COVID-19 will be covered by your plan. Services you get for an emergency room visit face mask will always be covered, if you are admitted to the hospital. You will pay no out-of-pocket costs when you obtain a test from an in-network pharmacy. You cannot submit a claim for reimbursement to EmblemHealth from an out-of-network pharmacy, store, or online retailer.
