If you carry it on the shoulder, like it’s probably suppose to, I’m sure it’s more than fine. If you are replacing the case and buying a different charger, the combo is probably not a great deal. While the Mini 1 battery will fit and allow the drone to fly it really phantom 4 is not meant for the Mini 2. I’d stick to the battery made for it for the best performance. I know reports said Mini 1 li-ion battery can be used with Mini 2 drone, did it turned out it’s fully compatible (it won’t move around in the drone or damage the pins)?

I’m happy with the set up for bikepacking and backpacking, but I did change the case to reduce the size of the the total package.
