If you’re looking for a shaver that’s easier to maintain, the Series 5 has more advancements in terms of battery, charging, cleaning, and maintenance. The Series 3 is simpler with less bells and whistles than the newer models. The 310s has a small element that will direct some hairs for a better shave.
The system offers you cleaning the foils with a new process where you need to water the neck of the shaver from direct tape water. After watering the neck, the water flow will pressure the flaps inside the EasyClean head and remove the debris from inside to outside. If you do want to have a thorough clean, you also can open the foil chamber and clean it like the older head clean system.
This could be a better performing shaver, however, for an electric shaver within its mid-price range, it’s decent and has a lot of positives going for it. The main issue has been performance which can improve when sticking an extra $50 or so towards the purchase. 4 days growth – This was way too much growth for the shaver to deal with and I ended up with a lot of patches and stray hairs. I could get the job done eventually but it took a lot of shaving. Part of the test was to also use the shaver on various amounts of hair growth (i,e,. daily, every 2 – 3 – and 4 days).

The Remington Shaver Electric Shaver is 100% waterproof and can be used both wet and dry, with gel or foam, letting you shave your way. I cannot vouch for the longevity of battery life as I use, test, and review shavers, razors, and other products over a monthly period usually. I have not found any complaints as yet about the longevity of battery life, which is encouraging. I only shave every 2 or 3 days (I’m retired and can get away with that). Unfortunately, if I do that this razor does not cut all the beard growth and leaves hairs.
