When I first got the dyson robot vacuum Max, I was still learning how to use the self-cleaning function. Well, once I purchased the Bissell Crosswave last year, I quickly found out the answer – Yes! I discussed last year how the Crosswave worked beautifully on my floors and really made it easy to freshen up my space.
The first con of the Bissel Crosswave Max is one that I have been worried about since the beginning. I talked about the battery life in my first blog, and I will say, it takes a lot to get used to. Now, I have experienced the vacuum more and expanded my thoughts.
The two-tank system keeps cleaning solution and dirty water separate. Cleaning the machine is easy with a touch of a button. Fill the tray with water and press a button to flush clean water through the machine. After using this machine you will want to press and hold the dyson robot vacuum button that looks like a fan, just under the display, and it will begin a 30-second self-clean. You will still have to empty water tanks and clean brushes, but this does help along the way as it flushes out dirt, hair and debris from the appliance and brush roll.
I can’t really find anything negative to say about the design of the machine itself or its performance. However I do have one major gripe to mention and it’s the dodgy interface between the machine and the charger-cum-cleaning station. When I first mounted the unit into the cleaning station’s provided port, it refused to engage with the power supply. In fact I had to jiggle the machine around until the charging light came on.
