If you have a small family (2-4 members) and do not want to make a lot of food, the 3-quart Instant Pot is typically a great choice. Portable, compact, and lightweight, this model is great for those with space constraints as well. Sticking “Nova” on the end of the best-known Instant Pot is enough to throw people off, but the Duo Nova is just the new-and-improved version of the Duo.
However, if you pay slightly more and purchase the Duo Nova, I suggest you get a somewhat better pressure cooker for not much more money. If you are brand new to pressure cooking, the Instant Pot Duo is a fantastic choice.
