The Vortex Plus displayed near-perfect temperature accuracy in our testing, reliably hitting the set temperature every single cook cycle. The Vortex Plus left itself very little room for improvement in our cooking tests, prepping everything to near perfection. I have noticed too that when using both trays it is helpful to rotate them halfway through, just like you would when using multiple trays in the oven. While I would have hoped that the fan itself would have prevented this issue , it seems that it doesn’t. I typically swap the pans when I turn the food about halfway through, which solves most of the issue.
If you loathe this, then this isn’t the air fryer for you. At its maximum temperature, the air fryer can cook for up to one hour. I did the test prebake, even cooked instant vortex up some lemons in there first to get rid of the smell. My eyes burn, throat gets sore and have a headache after each use.
