For a consistently close shave, plus the convenience of an included automatic cleaning system at a reasonable price, we recommend the Braun Series 7. We believe the Braun Series 7 is worth its higher price, but the Remington F is a Braun Series 5 surprisingly competent budget alternative. It provides credible stubble-leveling results at an affordable price. I don’t know that it bothers me so much for phones, but cordless power tool battery ecosystems are just a total scam.
You act like you didn’t exist a decade ago when you could simply unclasp the battery from the back of even the fanciest smartphone, and get a new one. Or – you must guarantee software support as long as at least 50% of the devices sold are still in service. Next on the list would be guaranteed software support for far longer than the 2 years of manufacturing warranty. Too many products are forcefully terminated early because of this.
From my experience, only frequent shavers will need to change the shaving heads yearly. If you only shave twice a week or less then you will see the heads last much longer. The shaver actually contains Philips Norelco Shaver three individual shaving heads and each shaving head is made up of two pieces. This is probably why you only ever see the front of the 9000 series electric shavers shown in Philips advertising.
Also, as long as the skin is dry, the shaving head will glide easily and won’t cause your strokes to be jerky. That said, I used it along with a pre-shave lotion most of the time, and that further improved the experience. I have annoying neck hairs that shoot off in every direction, right up to my jaw line. These hairs have always been problematic for me when using electric shavers that require up and down movements. Through regular usage, your shaver’s blades may become dull after a while, which is absolutely normal. You simply need to purchase a replacement head, and your shaving device will start delivering high performances again.

You might just want a razor without all the bells and whistles that other electric razors have. If that’s the case, the Philips Norelco OneBlade is easy to use and great for bearded men.
