If a fragrance has an artificial-looking colour, it’s likely a faux. That is precisely what I thought, N- “very nice, but not special.” I love when designers interject a humorousness into the design – anybody keep in mind the L.E. YSL Homme bottle from a famous architect ?
I pick up a slight tropical vibe. This was a present and, at first spray, I was reminded of Marks Spencer Lavender (room & body spray) from way back. But Hypnose is way more refined and in depth. I get a powdery Iris and Violet vibe from this. I don’t lancome perfume for women know what Passiflora smells like and not sure they’ve a scent. My pal has a viney bush and do not recall a perfume from the flowers.
I am a fan of each perfumers, and feel that their finances must have been fairly restricted, as this scent just isn’t worthy of either. Very mediocre and ultimately disappointing, I will only keep it for nostalgic purposes. Honourable mention for the lovely bottle nonetheless.

It’s an almost spectral presence. Like a moist sheen or a frost over pores and skin. Hypnose, being a very favourite scent of mine, I will not take one other chance and will by no means repurchase ever once more.
This one is sickeningly, syrupy sweet. It smells like a vanilla protein shake. Not a vanilla milkshake which smells wealthy and creamy, however a protein shake which is attempting lancome fragrance to copy a vanilla milkshake however cannot due to the added chemical substances.
